Dating from 1937, this is a vintage American Parker Vacumatic Junior, in light and dark burgundy pearl marble with gold trim. The twin gold rings on the cap is a feature of the Junior model in this range. The celluloid barrel has areas of transparency so that the ink level can be seen
The same model is illustrated in Lambrou's FPOW (1995) as pen #1 on page 83.
This is fitted with a 14k gold Canadian Vacumatic nib which has some degree of flex. If no pressure is exerted on the nib, it writes with a medium line width of around 0.6mm
This has been used but is in good shape. The barrel imprint is still legible and contains the manufacturing date code of '47' which indicates the fourth quarter of 1937
This fills from an ink bottle using the lockdown plunger at the end of the barrel. This pen does not take cartridges. We have serviced the pen which includes fitting a new diaphragm to the plunger

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We then reassemble the pen with a new Vacumatic diaphragm, check the ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This pen comes with our normal 12 month warranty. We keep a detailed record of each customer's purchases so if you need to call us, we will have all the information here to answer any query
