Dating from the early/mid 1950s, this is a Conway Stewart 24 fountain pen (13.0cms capped), with the matching #18 pencil, in silver candystripe with gold trim.
This is fitted with a 14k gold Conway Stewart fine nib which produces a writing line of around 0.4mm and is reasonably firm. The pencil takes 1.18mm lead which is still produced for all Yard-o-Led and some Kaweco pencils
These have only been lightly used, are in excellent overall condition and come with an original Conway Stewart card box and guarantee, noting some ink staining to the inside box lining
This fills from an ink bottle using the lever on the side of the barrel and does not take cartridges. We have serviced the pen which includes fitting a new ink sac
Condition B/1f - (Ref 13035)
