Produced in Parker's UK factory, this is a boxed set of the Rialto fountain pen and ballpoint in matte green with gold trim with medium nib - the manufacturing date code on the clutch band is 'II I' which stands for 2004
The Rialto took over from the earlier Parker 88 model range in around 1994. While looking superficially similar, the Rialto has decorative engraving on the nib unlike the 88 which is undecorated. The 88 nib unit is coloured and has metal threads while the Rialto's is black with plastic threading
The fountain pen has a medium nib which produces a writing line of around 0.6mm. The pen takes standard Parker cartridges and also comes with a new Parker converter for filling from an ink bottle
The ballpoint takes the standard modern Parker ballpoint or gel refill
Both pen and ballpoint are unused and come with their original box and card outer
