The photos above are of the actual pen we are offering for sale here
Produced by the Parker factory in the USA, this is a Parker 75 fountain pen in the gold plated Insignia design
This is the later Insignia design which is easily confused with other designs including the Diamante (but its squares are pointed); the Ciselé (but only French production in gold plate) and early Insignia (but shallower lines and other points below). Lih-Tah Wong on parker75.com identifies the key differences of the later Insignia as being:
-
Inscribed grid lines are deeper and more pronounced
-
22K goldplate (instead of 14K goldfill) over brass
-
Parker name moved to the back of the cap
-
Newer clip with larger arrowhead
-
Tassies are dished instead of flat
This is fitted with an original USA 14k gold nib which is numbered 66 on the feed. This is Parker's designation for a medium nib
This takes modern Parker ink cartridges or fills from an ink bottle using the converter
This is unused, new old stock and in superb condition
Condition A2/1m (Ref 13353)
