An unused late Parker 61 Consort in teal blue with the distinctive crosshatched Consort design rolled gold cap - fitted with a medium 14k gold nib.
The Consort design was introduced in 1967 and proved to be a particularly durable gold finish as it contained 1/5th 12 carat rolled gold rather than the 1/10th gold content of the standard Custom caps
This takes standard modern Parker cartridges or fills from an ink bottle using its converter which comes with this pen - around 1970
