This is a Canadian Parker 51 Demi in black with a steel cap fitted. It's fitted with a 14k gold medium nib which produces a writing line of around 0.6mm
The Demi is a smaller version of the regular Mk1 aerometric and is around 12.9cms long (capped) whereas the full size version is around 13.9cms. The demi aerometric was produced in the USA from 1948 until 1961 and for some time in Canada. This example has Canadian imprints on the barrel and dates from 1952

This has been lightly used and is in superb overall condition with a clear "Made in Canada" barrel imprint

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
