This is an English Parker 51 Mk1 Custom in black with the rolled gold Custom cap. This is fitted with a fine 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.4mm
In terms of condition, this appears not to have been used. The cap is perfect with very crisp engine turned design. Barrel imprints are also very crisp and easy to read - 'Parker Made in England'. Overall, this is in superb condition
This dates from the mid/late 1950s as it has the earlier cage clutch, the simple rolled gold imprint on the reverse of the cap and the earlier metal sac protector with the black tip

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
