This is an excellent English Parker 51 Mk1 in teal blue with steel Classic cap. This is fitted with an extra fine 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of approx 0.3mm
In terms of condition, this has been carefully looked after and is in excellent overall condition.
In terms of dating, this probably dates from the early 1950s as the cap has the earlier slightly longer clip, the earlier cage clutch and only a simple 'Parker' imprint on the front below the clip

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
