English Parker 51 Classic in the lighter English shade of burgundy with the steel Classic cap. This is fitted with an broad 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.8mm
In terms of condition, this has been carefully looked after and is in excellent overall condition
This dates from around 1962 as it has the later four prong cap clutch, the Halo imprint on the cap while the sac protector retains the black tip was was removed in 1965

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
