This is the Henry Simpole Overlay No.1 Onoto pen with a vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) overlay and a bicolour 18k gold fine nib. There are full London assay hallmarks on the barrel and the edition number #46 (see photo)
The design and size of this pen are similar to the original De La Rue Onoto 'N' type pens from the early 1900s. Common features are that these pens have slip (not screw) caps and do not have pocket clips
This is unused and comes with its original hardshell box and card outer case
This takes standard modern international cartridges or fills from an ink bottle using the converter - 2010
