Dating from the early 1950s, this is a De La Rue Onoto lever filler in black veined light and dark silver pearl marble with gold trim. This model has three cap bands with the middle band being slightly wider. Both the clip and the lever feature the TDLR imprint for Thomas De la Rue
The same model pen in a wine pearl and black marble is illustrated as pen 12 in Lambrou's FPOW (1995) on page 161.
This is fitted with the #3st De La Rue Onoto London 14k fine gold nib which produces a line of around 0.4mm
This has been lightly used is in excellent overall condition with very crisp barrel imprints as shown in the photos above
This fills from an ink bottle using the lever on the side of the barrel and does not take cartridges. We have serviced the pen which includes fitting a new ink sac

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We then reassemble the pen and fit the correct size of new ink sac, check the ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
