Dating from the early 1950s, this is a De La Rue Onoto lever filler in black veined light and dark rose pearl marble with gold trim
The same model pen in a brown pearl marble is shown in Lambrou's FPOW (1995) on page 161.
This is fitted with the desirable #5 sized bicolour 14k medium gold nib which produces a line of around 0.6mm
This has been lightly used is in excellent overall condition with very crisp barrel imprints as shown in the photos above
This fills from an ink bottle using the lever on the side of the barrel and does not take cartridges. We have serviced the pen which includes fitting a new ink sac

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We then reassemble the pen and fit the correct size of new ink sac, check the ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
