Dating from the early 1950s and produced in England, this is a good example of the classic Conway Stewart 58 Duro model in black with gold trim. The 58 was one of the larger flagship models in the 1950s Conway range
This is fitted with its original fine 14k CS 58 Duro nib which produces a writing line of around 0.4mm
Overall it's in good shape with light overall wear - barrel imprints are readable - plating is good with slight wear to the high spots as normal
This fills from an ink bottle using the lever on the side of the barrel and does not take cartridges. We have serviced the pen and it comes with a new ink sac

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We then reassemble the pen and fit the correct size of new ink sac, check the ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This pen comes with our normal 12 month warranty. We keep a detailed record of each customer's purchases so if you need to call us, we will have all the information here to answer any query
