Dating from the early/mid 1950s, the Dinkie 550 is Conway's most diminutive pen model at around 10.8cms.  Produced in England, this example is in black veined red pearl marble with gold trim.  

This is fitted with a 14k gold Conway Stewart nib which writes as a stub or italic and produces a writing line which varies between 0.4mm and 0.8mm depending on direction.  Like most non-Duro nibs of this period, this has some degree of flex which allows the line width to increase under light pressure

Overall, this is in good working order and has been well looked after

This fills from an ink bottle using the lever on the side of the barrel and does not take cartridges. We have serviced the pen which includes fitting a new ink sac

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts.  We then reassemble the pen and fit the correct size of new ink sac, check the ink flow and the smoothness of the nib.  We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip. 

This pen comes with our normal 12 month warranty.  We keep a detailed record of each customer's purchases so if you need to call us, we will have all the information here to answer any query
