Excellent English 51 Mk2 in grey with rolled gold cap. Showing no signs of use, this is an good example of one of the earliest English Mk2 pens with the Parker halo imprint on the cap.
This design is known as a transitional model between the Mk1 and Mk2 as it features the Mk2's restyled 61 type cap; thinner clutch ring and longer section but also harks back to the Mk1 design by having a rounded end to the barrel. For more information, see p63 of David Shepherd's book on the Parker 51.
