This is an English Parker 51 Classic with steel cap in grey. This is fitted with a medium 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.6mm
In terms of condition, this has been carefully looked after and is in excellent overall condition
In terms of dating, this is probably around 1964 as the cap has both the four prong clutch and the halo imprint, but not the later '51' imprint. This pen also has the later one piece metal sac protector.

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
