Unused example of the second edition of the black spiral laque design 1083
According to Sheaffertarga.com, this has an elegant spiral design in black laque finish with narrow cap band and 23 carat gold electroplated trim: 'the depth and quality of this finish is a result of being individually hand lacquered 14 times and polished, also by hand, to a deep, luminous glow.
This takes modern Sheaffer ballpoint refills and dates from around 1990
