This is an English Parker 51 Mk1 Custom in grey with a rolled gold cap. It's fitted with a fine 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.4mm
Apart from some miniscule marks from storage over the last seventy years, it's showing no signs of having been used. The Parker factory imprint around the end of the barrel is still crisp as can be seen in the photos. The fine nib is smooth with good ink flow
In terms of dating, the cap has the Parker and RG (Rolled Gold) imprints and the earlier cage clutch. So with the barrel imprint and slightly longer earlier clip, this dates to the early 1950s.

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
