This is an American Parker 51 Classic with a steel cap in black. This is fitted with a fine 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.4mm.
In terms of condition, this has been carefully looked after and is in excellent overall condition
Date wise, this is probably around 1965-66 as the cap has both the four prong clutch, the halo imprint and also the later '51' imprint. This pen also has the later all metal sac protector

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
