This is an Australian Sheaffer Imperial Touchdown IV in black with gold trim and matching pencil dating from the late 1960s. The pen is fitted with a medium 14k nib producing a writing line of around 0.6mm. The pencil has a propelling mechanism which takes modern 0.9mm leads
This pen doesn't take cartridges. It fills from an ink bottle using Sheaffer's 'Touchdown' plunger filling system
This has seen little use, is in excellent overall condition

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We fit new seals and a new ink sac and then reassemble the pen. After this, we check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib.
