Montblanc Nicolai Mozart ballpoint in malachite and vermeil sterling silver from around 1996. The cap has a malachite green overlay, and the barrel is made from 925 sterling silver

This has been one of my desk pens for the last few years. I always found the gold with malachite green an attractive combination. However, as the keyboard continues to take over, I am reintroducing my favourite Parker 51 as my everyday desk pen. As these seem quite sought after these days, it seems better to sell it than just consign it to my desk drawer
Condition wise, it's picked up the normal surface micro-scratches over the years but has no dents. The malachite is in good shape. On the central cap band, there is an 2-3mm area of wear to the gold
