The photos above are of the actual pen we are offering for sale here
American Parker Vacumatic in emerald pearl, measuring 130 mm capped which means it is probably a 'Major'. This is fitted with a later Newhaven Parker #35 nib
Writing with no pressure on the nib, it produces a line width of around 0.6mm which is a medium. With very slight pressure, this line increases to around 0.8mm which is a broad width. So it's possible reasonable to describe this nib as semi-flex or at least having some degree of flexibility but applying these terms is subjective
The barrel imprint is quite crisp and carries the date imprint of 5 and two dots for 1945
In terms of condition, this has been carefully looked after and is in excellent overall condition. Barrel imprints are crisp and easy to read as can be seen from the photos. There is reasonably good barrel transparency.
Condition B/1m>b with some flex (Ref 12996)
