This is an English Parker Duofold Special from around 1945 in rose and black herringbone.  A senior model in the same colour is on p191 (pen ref 3) of Andreas Lambrou's Fountain Pens of the World

This is one of the rarer colours in this model series

This is fitted with its original 14k gold nib with the imprint "Parker Duofold 14k Pen N" with the 'N' signifying that it was made at Parker's factory at Newhaven, England

As a Special model, this is a medium sized pen and measures 12.5cms capped

This nib produces a writing line of around 0.6mm which is a medium width

This pen doesn't take cartridges.  It fills from an ink bottle using using Parker's traditional button filling system

This has seen little use and is in excellent overall condition with crisp imprints on the barrel as can be seen in the photos

The pen comes with an original contemporary Parker card box
