Produced in England, this is a Centennial Duofold fountain pen in black from around 1997. This is fitted with a medium 18k gold bicolour nib with the flag imprint which produces a writing line of around 0.6mm
This Centennial is the larger version of the Duofold with the International having a slightly smaller diameter
In 1996 Parker revised the design of the Duofold series. The cap top became slightly tapered; the raised cap decal had the same flag design as the nib; the nib shell had one (not two as earlier) gold bands; the cap lip featured two thick bands. This pen has all of these features
This takes standard modern Parker cartridges or a Parker converter for filling from an ink bottle
Condition wise, this shows no sign of having been used. Imprints on the end of the barrel are still clear and have a P date code for 1997

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
