This is an English Parker Duofold AF from around 1948 in dark blue with gold trim. The 'AF' stands for 'aluminium filler' which refers to the material for the filling button and its casing which are gold plated on this example. Parker used a particularly deep dark blue material for this model which can easily be mistaken for black if not viewed under a strong light or natural sunlight
This is fitted with its original 14k gold nib with the imprint "Parker Duofold 14k Pen N" with the 'N' signifying that it was made at Parker's factory at Newhaven, England
This nib is a medium which produces a writing line of around 0.6mm
This pen doesn't take cartridges. It fills from an ink bottle using using Parker's traditional button filling system
This has seen little use and is in excellent overall condition with crisp imprints on the barrel as can be seen in the photos

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We fit a new ink sac and then reassemble the pen. After this, we check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib.
