This is an English Parker 51 Mk1 Custom in black with the rolled gold Custom cap. This is fitted with a medium 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.6mm
In terms of condition, this appears not to have been used. The cap is perfect with very crisp engine turned design. Overall, this is in superb condition
This dates from the early 1960s as it has the later four prong clutch clutch, the Halo imprint on the reverse of the cap but still the earlier metal sac protector with the black tip

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
