The cap is very clean with no dents, dings or any signs of plating wear and has a satisfyingly 'factory' fit to the pen which again suggests the pen has seen little action

In terms of dating by its design features, the cap has the simple 'Parker' imprint to the front and the standard '1/10 12ct R.Gold' imprint to the rear. The cap has both the earlier cage clutch and the longer so early 1950s. The barrel imprint pins this down to 1954 with a '4' manufacturing date code

Condition B/1f - (Ref 13399)

See our Condition Grading Scale

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac.
