{"product_id":"conway-stewart-550-dinkie-in-black-veined-light-and-dark-red-pearl-marble-gold-trim-stub-nib","title":"Conway Stewart 550 Dinkie in black veined light and dark red pearl marble, Gold trim - Stub nib","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe photos above are of the actual pen we are offering for sale here\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDating from the early\/mid 1950s, the Dinkie 550 is Conway's most diminutive pen model at around 10.8cms.  Produced in England, this example is in black veined red pearl marble with gold trim.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is fitted with a 14k gold Conway Stewart nib which writes as a stub or italic and produces a writing line which varies between 0.4mm and 0.8mm depending on direction.  Like most non-Duro nibs of this period, this has some degree of flex which allows the line width to increase under light pressure\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall, this is in good working order and has been well looked after\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis fills from an ink bottle using the lever on the side of the barrel and does not take cartridges.
