This is an English Parker 51 Classic with steel cap in teal blue. This is fitted with a fine 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.4mm
In terms of condition, this has been carefully looked after and is in excellent overall condition
In terms of dating, this is probably from around the mid 1950s as the cap has the earlier cage style clutch; the barrel is imprinted 'Parker Made in England' and the cap has the simple 'Parker' imprint

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
