Parker Duofold Centennial Limited Editon Bumblebee London - Medium nib

Regular price £2,450.00

We have just received another example of this edition - unused with all original packaging - No 13/100

Only 100 Parker Duofold Centennials were produced by Parker for the London Pen Show in 2007.  13 pieces were retained by Parker, so only 87 of these pens were available worldwide.  This must make the Bumblebee one of the rarest of Parker's limited editions!

Although known as the London Parker Duofold (see cap top decal) when it was issued, the colour and design of the pen meant that it soon became known as the 'Bumblebee Duofold'

The limited edition number is part of the barrel imprint on the pen. It is also recorded on the pen's limited edition certificate (see pictures) and on the label on the box's outer wrapper.

The inspiration for the design of the pen came from the 1930's laminated design of the Parker Vacumatic.  The material chosen by Parker for this Duofold has the same laminated design with white bordered yellow rings alternating with transparent rings.  So both the cap and barrel are partially transparent.  A stunning design!

The packaging includes the hard-shell clasp locking box; the card box and the card outer wrapper.

The documentation includes the numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by Dave Ruderman, Director of Heritage Products at Parker; a Parker Duofold Mandarin ink blotter card and the standard grey modern Parker warranty booklet.

The Bumblebee is fitted with the medium two-colour 18k gold Duofold Centennial nib.
