Orders can be placed through the website or, for pen orders only, phone us on 01992-578 885 (Monday to Friday  11am-4pm).  Please place all ink orders through the shopping cart.

If the item you wish to purchase is not covered by the shopping cart, please phone or email us

If you are buying a vintage pen, please check our Pen Condition Scale for condition and nib grade information

We accept either Paypal (with delivery to confirmed address) or credit/debit cards through Sage Pay

The base currency for this site is pounds sterling. Prices in Euros and US dollars are for guidance only. 

Please note that all orders are accepted at our sole discretion and that we reserve the right to refuse an order or to ask for payment by bank transfer.

If we are unable to verify your billing address with your card company, then we will ask you to pay by Paypal (with confirmed address), Amex or bank transfer.

Despatch

Orders are usually despatched in 2-3 working days, but may take longer if we are waiting for fresh stock deliveries and you should allow up to 21 days for receipt. If the order is time critical (birthdays etc), please phone us to confirm delivery time before placing your order.

Delivery Address

We will only deliver to the cardholder's billing address or to a confirmed business address (school, company etc) unless (1) you are an existing customer and known to us OR (2) payment is by bank transfer OR (3) payment is by card with 3-D Secure password confirmation

Shipping outside the UK

Worldwide shipping by FedEx is available as an alternative to Royal Mail. This is a fully trackable international service. Rates will be shown within your shopping basket.

Prices for Fedex and Airmail will be displayed within the shopping cart once you have selected the destination country.

Please note that we are unable to ship to Indonesia, Nigeria and certain other countries 

Returns and Cancellation Policy

We accept back any pen which is not satisfactory for any reason for a full refund.  We will not accept repeat orders from customers who abuse this returns policy.  Please let us know that you will be returning the goods within 7 working days of receipt.  You pay the postage charges to return the order to us unless the goods are faulty in which case we will refund your postage charges.

You also have an unconditional right to cancel your order within 7 working days from receipt of the goods without giving a reason and we will then refund your money as soon as possible but within 14 days of your cancellation and return of the goods.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

We reserve the absolute right to decline to accept any order at our sole discretion.

Handling Complaints

We will acknowledge the complaint within 5 working days and provide a likely timescale for resolving the dispute and keep the consumer informed about progress
