This is an English Parker 51 Mk1 Custom in grey with a rolled gold cap. It's fitted with a fine 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.4mm
This is showing hardly any signs of having been used, and everything is quite crisp. The fine nib is smooth with good ink flow
In terms of dating, the cap has the Halo and '51' imprints and the later four prong cap clutch. So with the one piece metal sac protector, this dates to the mid 1960s

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
