Fitting a Parker 25 clip is quite easy:
- Push out the inner cap (fountain pen or rollerball) or ratchet (ballpoint) from the cap shell by using a blunt tool to push down on the coloured disk of ratchet plastic visible on the top of the cap. The inner cap or ratchet is held in place by friction.
- Then clean the inside of the cap shell
- Then make sure the new clip is in the right position and push the inner cap or ratchet into the cap shell. The flat side of the inner cap or ratchet top must be positioned to line up with the back of the clip as the inner cap/ratchet holds the clip in position.
