Retro

In black with barley patterning and sterling silver trim - individually numbered - with presentation box and lifetime guarantee - full English silver hallmarks on clip

In 1822, the first ever propelling pencil was invented and patented by Sampson Mordan. From that point onwards the family-run business continued to develop its unique design carrying twelve three inch leads inside the barrel of the pencil, hence the name Yard-O-Led. In 1934, the Yard-O-Led Company was founded and today continues its traditions of craftsmanship and excellence established nearly 200 years ago.

The Retro is based on an original 1950s model, reminiscent of post war optimism combined with the austere mood of the era. True to the unique styling of Yard-O-Led, Retro combines hallmarked solid silver features with the simplicity of a distinctive Barley patterned barrel, manufactured from a durable black resin compound. A silver Y icon appears on the pen cap.
