A 1920s True Blue Lucky Curve pen with excellent original colour
In 1928 Parker introduced one of the most sought after lower priced pens, known today as the "True Blue." This new slender blue and white swirled Permanite pen was called the "Three Fifty" in Parker advertisements and the color was called both "Modernistic Blue" and "Modern Blue-and-White." The model was probably discontinued around 1929.
To commemorate this design, Parker have produced the Duofold True Blue in the large Centennial model of Duofold as a limited edition of only 5000 worldwide. Each pen carries its limited edition number on its cap decal. Fitted with an 18k medium nib, this pen comes in a blue fitted hard shell box with numbered certificate card and a bottle of Penman ink.
