A nib choice is available for current production models of the Duofold. We may also have some alternative grades for the 1987 and 1996 ranges of Duofolds.

For current production 'Ace' motif models, we usually have fine, medium and broad nibs in stock plus some italic grades. If we do not have the nib you need, we order the nib in from Parker. This usually takes around two weeks.

Regular Nibs

These nibs have a rounded shape at the tip of the writing point which gives a smooth, free flowing writing line of uniform width. They are suited for any style of writing, both left-handed and right-handed

Needlepoint (extremely fine for precise figure work - not intended for general writing)
Extra fine (for fine line with a light touch)
Fine
Medium
Broad (B)
Extra Broad (2B) (large rounded point for heavy lines and bold signatures)
Extra Extra Broad (3B)

Straight Italic Nibs
These are designed to have a sharp edged, chisel like tip which gives a thick line when drawn vertically down the page and a thin line across the page

Italic Fine
Italic Medium
Italic Broad

Oblique Nibs
The nib is fitted with a rounded writing tip which is cut at an angle of 15 degrees from top right to bottom left

Parker are now not listing any oblique grade nibs for the Centennial and only a fine oblique for the International.

We have a selection of oblique nibs for the Parker 75 range

Plase note that Parker are discontinuing some nib grades and that not all grades listed above may be available.

We have discontinued taking orders for Duofold nibs as the range of available grades has been significantly reduced.

It is likely that we will decide to list individual nib units which will allow customers to choose nib grades which are in stock, come with either gold or platinum trim and identify the imprint from the range of 'Arrow', 'Banner' or 'Ace'. Early nib shells - with two gold bands at the front - are no longer available.
